Definitely Right. “First China International Forum of Career Planning & GCDF Global Summit 2007” is the open and neutral platform which provides good opportunities for global career development facilitators to share their thoughts, ideas and methods together.

The GCDF students of first term graduated on Jan. 2005. The concept “assist people” of GCDF was spreaded around China . Then, BeiSen Assessment spreaded its on-line career planning system “Career Sky”, “TTT” training project around China . Proper career planning concept of GCDF spreaded out in China and had the meaningful influence gradually around China .

2007, only 2 years past from 2005, the development of GCDF attracts more attention. It trained almost 500 GCDFs and held more than 1000 trainings and projects. “TTT Training”of BeiSen Assessment and “Career Sky” certified training trained more than 1000 college teachers and HR Managers. The concept “assist people” of GCDF have already become the leading concept of career planning of China .

We leaded in concepts and thoughts of foreign career planning; meanwhile, we also found that the concepts and methods of career planning change rapidly. Many GCDF students are eager to enrich their new concepts and thoughts so that their ability can be promoted rapidly at the same time. The development of GCDF in China raises global attention. The name of “GCDF China” was mentioned for several times at the conference of NCDA U.S. in 2007.

There are many conferences which concentrate on techniques merely abroad. Specialists at there can speak out their ideas freely, develop their specialties, exchange what they have learned, and express their unique opinions and points of view. It is may helpful to other career development facilitators and professionals so that it can promote the professional level of whole field of career development. However, there is no such conference concerning career planning in domestic country. The technical communication between domestic and abroad is cut off so that it is unbenefited for communication and development as well as innovation and development of career planning concept in domestic.

The aims of this Forum are, at first, to establish an open and neutral exchanged platform. Secondly, it aims to lead GCDFs to have more and in-depth discussions about career development techniques and industries of China in order to contribute to the healthy and stable development of career planning in China .

On this occasion, “First China International Forum of Career Planning & GCDF Global Summit 2007” sponsored by China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP), National Career Development Association (NCDA) and National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) in cooperation with Beijing Beisen Career Development Consultation Co., Ltd. Will be held on 17 th -18 th November 2007 Beijing . Beijing Friendship Hotel.

At that time,   “International forefront concepts and techniques of career development planning” will be the theme of this Forum. Participants will discuss around the career development status quo, career application program for organization, establishment of College career planning service system and innovations of vocational assessment in career development.

A multitude of professionals domestic and abroad will be gathered. Professor James Sampson, designer of GCDF China course; Professor Norman Gysber, colleague of Holland and Super; Professor Barry Chung, first CH.
