Career Planning and Career guidance are regarded as the important part of positive labor markets policy in the western countries. Career Planning is seen as an industry in the West and is affirmed and supported by governmental legislation.

Career Planning is rising up just now and its market is barely mature in China . We are lacking in full understanding on practices of career planning which has been already the updated vocation in the world. People who engage in this vocation should develop their thoughts and methods earnestly. There still needs a period of time to accept the concept of receiving the third party to provide the assistance to vocational guidance for all society.

It being the fact that career planning show its meaningful, Ministry of Personnel of the People's Republic of China , Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and Ministry of Labour of the People's Republic of China all list the Career Planning as the keystone during the eleventh five years project. Under this circumstance, The China International Forum of Career Planning & GCDF Global Summit comes forth. It is sponsored by The China Association for International Exchange of Personnel (CAIEP), in cooperation with the National Career Development Association (NCDA) and National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). It is the very first forum of Career Planning & GCDF Global Summit in China . This conference takes “International forefront technology and practices on Career planning” into the theme and centers on the topics concerning Global Development of Career Planning, the Status of Career Development in other countries, International Forefront Technology on Career Planning, Application of Organizational Career Development. Establishment and Development of University Career Planning Service System, Innovation on career development applied career assessment and so on.
